A Government body is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst (EO grade). The role is temporary for one year. The hours are Monday - Friday, 9-5, 37 hours per week, and paying at £15.75 per hour. The role will be working from home.
As a Finance Analyst, you will support the Financial Planning team to ensure the delivery and outcomes are linked to a robust financial and benefit's plan - ensuring that you protect value, drive value and add value. You will ensure to support those delivering the Programme objectives to be within budget, to time and deliver better value for money.
You will be part of a high performing, flexible Financial Planning Team and you will be a part of a high profile and exciting delivery programme within central Government.
Key
Responsibilities:
" Assist with budgeting and business planning preparation and analysis
" Assist with PMQs and FOIs
" Maintain Risk Register
" Assist with recruitment
" Assist with ad-hoc commissions
" Assist with preparation of new estimates for policy decisions
Skills & Experience:
The post holder must be:
" A part-qualified Accountant or studying towards an Accountancy or similar qualification
" Skilled at planning and organising
" Pays attention to detail
" Manage priorities well
" Capable of working independently and within a team
" Adaptable and willing to review role and priorities with senior management team to meet the current and future needs of the organisation
" Able to work in a flexible way and undertake any other duties reasonably requested by line management which are commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post
Please note you will be expected to undergo full pre-employment checks should you be successful for this role, including a DBS and 3 years of work history
