My client, an SME telecommunications organisation, is seeking an ACCA, CIMA or ACA Finance Manager with a commercial edge to partner with their Marketing and Sales teams, to provide financial support to the company strategy including Sales, KPI's budgeting and forecasting processes.
You will be reporting to the Finance Director and will have responsibility for managing a small finance team to provide key metrics and financial information to the business at board level.
The successful candidate needs to be commercially driven and able to work on their own initiative.
Duties and

responsibilities:

* Provide high quality management information and analysis
* Monthly reporting for and liaison with key clients and suppliers
* Providing support to the sales and commercial teams and input for sales opportunities
* Profitability reviews and approval for large and low margin opportunities
* Supporting Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting
* Producing and presenting financial information to the board
* Managing the accounts team including responsibility for client billing, supplier invoicing and payroll
* Review and develop systems and processes
* Ad-hoc analysis for all business cases for new product lines
Experience and skills required:
* ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within an SME environment
* Experience of employee management
* Solid commercial and business awareness
* Ability to communicate at all levels and build strong working relationships
* Excellent working knowledge of SAGE 200 and Microsoft Excel
* Strong IT skills especially in relation to financial reporting and proactive at producing ad-hoc reports at short notice on a day-to-day basis
* Enjoys taking ownership of tasks and working with a self-motivated and enterprising approach
* Demonstrates a growth mindset and an interest in seeing the role and business develop
* Collaborates effectively and enjoys working as part of a cohesive team
* Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills
* Numerate and analytical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
