Our client is a highly successful organisation within the maintenance, fit-out and refurbishment of commercial and domestic properties throughout the Cambridgeshire and surrounding regions.
Due to an increase in workload, they are now recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to take the responsibility for a range of day-to-day tasks including -
* All aspects of bookkeeping
* Scanning, coding and posting invoices
* PAYE (including pension payments)
* VAT returns
* Month end management accounts
* Year end preparation
Other duties will include -
* Basic HR functions, to include preparing new starter documentation, assisting with new staff induction/training programmes, recording holiday/sickness etc
The ideal applicant -
* Part qualified AAT would be an advantage, but not essential as previous related experience and a willingness to learn would also be considered
* Good level of IT literacy
* A good team player
* A flexible attitude
* Ability to work under pressure during busy times
* Ideally living within an easy commute of Cambridge
