Job Details

This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for the production of a weekly payroll across multiple sites with multiple contractual agreements. Reporting into the Payroll team leader and manager on a daily basis based in Warrington.

We are assisting a client who are an expert in industrial engineering and have been established for over 30 years. Due to an internal promotion they are seeking a new member of staff to join the payroll team. Our client ensures all employees enjoy the same opportunities in terms of hiring and their ongoing development within the company.

Description

  • Process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Process SMP, SPP, SSP and Occupational sick pay
  • Process pay in accordance with various National Agreements
  • Calculate Redundancy payments
  • Distribution of payslips
  • Production of P45's
  • Liaise with sites and other departments to ensure communication lines are clear and deadlines are met
  • Deal promptly and professionally with payroll queries
  • Complete correspondence within the agreed SLA time frame
  • Produce reports for various departments
  • Maintain records and filing to a high standard
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
  • Follow and enforce implemented payroll policy, processes and procedures

Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years payroll experience in a multi site, multi contractual environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office including intermediate excel skills
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation and HMRC reporting requirements

Job Offer
