Group Finance Analyst

£40000 - £45000

Our client, part of an entrepreneurial group of companies is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Analyst to join the team. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for managing the accounts team and providing meaningful and accurate analysis on stock, sales, cashflow and monthly management accounts.

THE ROLE:
*Producing accurate and timely month end management accounts
*Journal preparation and posting including reconciliation of P&L and BS accounts
*Balance Sheet reconciliation i.e. Accruals, Prepayments, Income etc
*Ensure departmental operating procedures and controls are documented and adhered to
*Highlight and investigate any discrepancies within month end management accounts
*Review and improve existing procedures and processes to ensure best practice
*Perform analytical review and variance analysis and reporting of both Inventory Management and costs
*Perform analysis and investigate discrepancies within the Sales Figures, using various sales channel portals
*Use various sales channel portals for accurate reporting tools
*Any other accounts related reporting or analysis as required by company directors
*Reporting and manipulating data in excel, word, PowerPoint

The ideal candidate will be:
You will be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with excellent analysis and reporting skills. Experience of working within an importing/inventory management environment would be highly beneficial. You will be highly driven with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work. You will have the initiative and ability to challenge existing methods in a positive way and impart financial information to non finance personnel.
