We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Billing Specialist to join our Wellington based team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the role
Our Customer Billing team is tasked with delivering high-quality customer service to New Zealand Post and its customers. This is achieved through ensuring that all billing information that our customers receive is accurate and arrives in a timely manner to enable prompt payment, all payments received are correctly allocated, all customer enquiries are resolved in a timely manner, and the proactive management of all debt collection on customer accounts.
In this busy and varied role, you'll need to complete all of these tasks efficiently and effectively. There'll be lots of opportunities to participate in projects, and as part of the wider Group Finance team you'll be expected to work collaboratively and, at times, with the flexibility to pick up the work of other roles within the team to achieve team objectives. A vital part of this tole is to work closely with the Credit Control team to meet our key objectives and targets.
About you
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have experience in an Accounts Receivable, or similar, role and ideally have experience in a large organisation with a strong customer relationship component. We're looking for someone with experience working with an integrated FMIS solution, a good understanding and working knowledge of relevant legislation, and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with accuracy.
