I am working with a Global Manufacturing company, who are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Accountant (ideally Financial accounting). In this role you will be responsible for implementing the processes and procedures to ensure accurate accounts are published to the wider group.

The client is a global manufacturer who is experience a growth phase within their business due to the release of several new product lines and a shift in focus onto the UK business. The client is based close to Cwmbran and is easily accessible by car, from Newport, Cardiff and Bristol.

Description

As a Accountant you would be involved in:

• Fixed Asset Accounting
• Month End Processing
• VAT & Statutory Accounting
• Manage the general ledger
• Support in the production of month end and year end accounts
• VAT & Statutory Accounting
• Preparing (and potential review) of UK and foreign VAT returns
• Preparing and/or reviewing journals and balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and suitable supporting documentation
• Inter-company reconciliations, accruals and prepayments

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Experience of financial accounting and reporting

• Experience of working in a busy environment, providing accounting/reporting services to tight deadlines

• Worked independently to prepare monthly reports and analysis

• Competent using ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP

Job Offer

The successful candidate for the Financial Accountant role:

• Be Based close to Cwmbran
• Receive £29,000 -£35,000 Per annum
• Generous Holiday and Pension
