We welcome one and all to join us at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
Are you looking for an entry level accounting role? We are seeking a permanent full-time Finance Assistant to join our Financial Accounting team.
The role would suit someone at the start of their accounting career who is looking to develop core accounting skills while studying or looking to study towards a Chartered Accounting qualification.
Your key tasks will eventually cover all core areas of general ledger processing but will initially involve Accounts Payable tasks including:

* Data entry of invoices
* Raising purchase invoices and posting entries into accounting systems
* Resolving supplier related queries
* Processing journals and completing reconciliations
* Payroll data entry
* Completing other standard Accounts Payable processes (including allocation of payments and maintenance of purchase cards and other accounts)

The most important skills for success are a positive attitude, being a team player and having an aptitude for IT (e.g. systems and Excel knowledge). If this role sounds perfect, we want to hear from you.
