Interim Financial Accountant for a Local Government client.
As the Interim Financial Accountant you will be:
- Supporting the financial accountancy team responsible for producing timely and accurate statutory financial reporting, liaising and responding to Auditors, effective treasury management, fixed asset register and the provision of tax advice & statutory returns, At all times ensuring compliance with the CIPFA Code, UK taxes and duties, including VAT and ensuring the delivery of high-quality working papers for all your work.
- Collate, prepare and provide timely and accurate financial information and returns, assistance, and advice to councillors, managers and staff at all levels.
- Ensure fundamental reconciliations are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Previous experience in a Public Sector Organisation
Experience in fixed assets and collection fund accounting.
£200 - £225pd dependant on experience
