Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be instrumental with the operating of the Finance department, providing robust management information and financial support throughout the organisation
- Sales Ledger duties including, debt chasing, customer query resolution and ledger reporting.
- Purchase Ledger duties including, producing payments via BACS, supplier query resolution and ledger reporting.
- Bank reconciliations
- Management of petty cash
- Monitor staff expenses.
- Company credit card analysis
- Collate company information for a variety of reports.
- Preparation of raw data to compile Cashflow control and forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
- Assist in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Liaise with external auditors at year end.
- To anticipate and prepare any information relating to daily activities required by the Financial Controller, Finance Director or senior management.
- Experience of working within a Sales ledger and/or Purchase Ledger role
- Familiar with daily use of an accounting system such as Sage
- Experience of reviewing daily business cashflow forecasts
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisation, being proactive and able to multitask within a busy environment
- Will be IT proficient, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Can work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Working towards a professional qualification
- Experience in a rapidly expanding organisation
