Hiring Manager's view:

We need someone with a bit of grit for this role. The stakeholders are direct and don't suffer fools. There's lot to do and plenty of improvements to make. Visibility in the role is incredibly high and the need to recruit the right person has been on the agenda in recent board meetings.

It will be tough, but, for the right candidate it will add huge achievements to your CV.

It's a really good job for a straight-talking Finance BP. It won't be easy as the role has huge exposure and the visibility in role is really high. Which means, you'll be on a lot of the Director's radars. If that excites you, this could be a great job for you. You'll be given lots of opportunities to drive change within the whole business, not just the finance department. It's a true commercial job and one which could take your BP experience to the next level.

Covid:

The company is continuing to do well, no concerns about future stability of this role. In terms of future working from home arrangements, it's expected there will still be a little flex, but, given the amount of stakeholder management involved they'd like to drive that in person in the majority when safe to do so. They have managed well working remotely since last March though.

The Role:

• You will be the lead finance partner in the business area to drive commercial performance
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes providing robust challenge across the business unit working with stakeholders up to C-Suite level.
• Variance analysis reporting working with the wider business to understand remedial measures required
• Cost and profitability reporting and analysis including investigation into commercial results
• KPI reporting and analysis of key variables
• Development of existing reporting and analytical suites
• Support the wider finance function with projects around complex analytical reporting suites

Requirements:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified with excellent commercial experience
