Semi Senior / Senior Accountant who has ideally completed the AAT qualification or similar with experience working within a practice environment and who works to a high level of accuracy is required for an established Accountancy Practice based in Elmstead Market, Colchester, Essex.

SALARY:
£25,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Free Onsite Parking

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant who has ideally completed the AAT qualification or similar with experience working within a practice environment and who works to a high level of accuracy.

The Accountancy Practice is experiencing continued growth and is looking to recruit someone with the necessary experience to compliment their friendly and pro-active team.

The practice utilises digital processes to run a paperless office, so would suit a candidate looking to move away from the traditional set up.

Working as the Semi Senior / Senior Accountant your duties will include managing a portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders through to limited companies. With specific responsibilities involving:

Preparing year-end accounts and financial statementsPersonal and corporate tax return preparationClient bookkeeping and management accountsVAT returns

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Semi Senior / Senior Accountant you will have the following skills, qualifications and attributes:

The ideal candidate will have experience within a practice environment, now looking to take the next step in managing their own portfolioYou will ideally have completed the AAT qualification, or similarExperience of TaxCalc and Xero packages would be preferential
