Accountant - Business Operations
£41,881 - £44,863 per annum
37 hours per week
Fixed term contract of 6 months
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced accountant to deliver a high quality accountancy service to support Nottingham City Homes managers to deliver the Company's objectives efficiently and effectively. This is a vital role within our Corporate services department and we are looking for the successful applicant to provide professional financial support across the business providing advice in optimum decision making whilst adhering to current legislation, ensuring value for money and following NCH policies.
You will ideally have significant experience of closedown and year-end process and accounts compilation for similar sized companies. You will be responsible for leading line reports in the provision of financial services including delivering support and advice to business managers, business partners, colleagues and stakeholders when necessary.
The ideal candidate will hold a CCAB qualification such as CIMA/CPIFA/ACCA with both technical Financial and Management Accounts experience working with small companies and small subsidiary companies and their accounts. You will have a strong grasp of relevant legislation and reporting standards, where you will be familiar with implementing and maintaining financial controls and monitoring against set levels.
This exciting opportunity will see you work with a range of computerised accounting and performance management/reporting systems. You will utilise your strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
