Temporary Management Accountant | Manchester | £29,000-£32,000

The is a great opportunity to work with an expanding and busy organisation in Manchester.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for the Head Office management accounts.

This fast paced role will include the following duties:

* Production of accurate weekly P&Ls with commentary on variances
* Responsible for the weekly and monthly Invoice runs plus adhoc manual invoice raising
* Production of accurate monthly management accounts for each company with variance analysis
* Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
* Periodic customer credit assessments with reviews to company debtor insurance, ensuring compliance and reducing risk of exposure
* Ownership and management of both aged debtors and creditors
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Assist with production of annual budgets and audits
* Completion of monthly Payroll
* Supporting the finance management team with any ad-hoc queries/projects

The successful candidate for this position will have/be:

* A part-qualified accountant
* Strong management accounts experience
* Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
* Strong numerical and IT skills
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Good organisational skills
