We're delighted to be recruiting for a specialist manufacturer of luxury products sold international through their dealership network.
In this role you will assist in preparing, developing and analysing financial information to allow the company to make decisions to ensure profitability and growth. Your role will be responsible for the completion of month end finance tasks and providing robust accounting support and analysis to the Financial Accounting Team.
Duties and
responsibilities:
- Manage and review overhead spend against budget ensuring accurate accruals and prepayments
- Bank reconciliations
- Monitor and maintain the fixed asset register
- Control responsibilities for specific divisions of the company to ensure processes are effective and transactions up to date
- Support the year end Audit
- Assistance in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
- Involvement in ad-hoc project work
Skills and experience required:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified professional
- Minimum 3 years' experience of working within a similar role (manufacturing organisation desirable not essential)
- Strong IT skills with an advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, Macros)
- Ability to monitor and maintain control accounts and reconciliations
- Numerate and analytical, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Enjoys taking ownership of tasks and working with a self-motivated and enterprising approach
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and an interest in seeing the role and business develop
- Ability to review processes and make recommendations for improvements
