Cross Resourcing are delighted to be partnering exclusively with our leading technology client exclusively to recruit an Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join in this newly created role to support the Finance Team. You will be responsible for the recording of financial transactions for operations Internationally, occasionally supporting the UK operation.

We are looking to speak to candidates with solid, proven experience. You will be part qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or be able to demonstrate equivalent commercial experience.

What you'll do

• Preparing accounts and tax returns
• Monitoring spending and budgets
• Auditing and analysing financial performance
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis
• Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
• Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
• Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Keeping account books and systems up to date

What you'll need

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA Part qualified
• Proven commercial experience in a similar role
• The ability to understand and learn new software
• Prioritisation skills, with the ability to coordinate a wide range of activities
• Strong IT skills
• Sound commercial understanding
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time
• Highly analytical, adaptable problem solver with excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
