Management Accountant - Firm of Accountants, Mansfield

This Management Accountant role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a developing regional accountancy practice based in Mansfield.

The successful individual will have a minimum of 4 years experience working within a management accounting role or within the accountancy profession, coupled with a good working knowledge of both Sage and Xero accounting software.

You will be possess a confident and outgoing personality with excellent communication skill and happy working closely with clients

Duties and Responsibilities

The role of the Management Accountant will provide support to a varied client base:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, this will include working at various client premises
• Preparing the VAT return in advance of deadline
• A good working knowledge of Excel, Sage Line 50 and Xero
• Ability to manage client deadlines
• Manage client queries

Skills and Qualities

The ideal applicant will have minimum of 4 years practical experience working within finance or trained within an accountancy practice environment, you will be familiar with the majority of the areas detailed in the responsibilities.

Due to the nature of the role, the business is looking to appoint an individual who has strong communication skills, an individual who has the ability to make sound, commercial and workable decisions alone, along with problem solving, organisational and planning skills.
