My client, a global leader in a growing industry has engaged with Macildowie exclusively and is currently looking for a charismatic, passionate individual to join their team in Portsmouth. The team is extremely supportive, and the role will be initially working remotely until their brand new open plan offices (flexible working of course) when they open.

What you'll be doing (please apply for more detailed job spec):

• Month end journals, accruals and assisting in the preparation of month end accounts
• Providing analytical support for multiple contract negotiations and projects, developing reports to influence stakeholder decisions
• Analysis of multiple different transactions within the division, reporting on this analysis to identify opportunities to save/improve spend.
• KPI and data reporting to senior finance stakeholders
• Applying significant attention to detail to ensure expenditure is correctly allocated and accounted for, along with communicating financial information to all levels of the business.

What we will need from you:

• AAT qualified /CIMA/ACCA/ACA PQ (not essential)
• 2 years' experience within a previous finance role, with prior project/analyst experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• TEAM PLAYER - Experience working in a team to achieve a goal

This role will be extremely hands on and looking for someone who can hit the ground running in both the fundamental accounting space and the Analyst space.
