Your new company
A highly reputable and internationally recognised organisation based in South Oxfordshire is looking to grow its commercial finance team with the addition of a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA and highly experience business partner. The role will report into the Head of Business Partnering and aim to be the bridge of communication from finance to wider functions across the business, challenging and advising stakeholders.

Your new role
As the successful candidate, you will be spend a large part of your time dedicated to business partnering, working closely with management teams across the business in relation to budgeting and forecasting, as well as supporting and influencing decision-making with real-time business intelligence. Furthermore, you will work with various stakeholders to develop meaningful metrics to measure performance, areas for improvement, risks and opportunities. Capex-related support and contributing to the monthly management pack will also be fundamental. You will be heavily involved in a range of projects across the business that will include improvements to processes and systems, as well as mentoring and provided ad hoc reports, as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need to be fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive experience in commercial finance activities and namely business partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders. Furthermore, you will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, as well as ability to interpret large data sets and analysis, using differing reporting tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential, alongside a proactive and collaborative approach to tackling tasks, working to deadlines, being a team player and leading from the front at all times. Previous experience in an operations or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
