THE ROLE

• Preparation of VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales/Purchase Listing reports and if needed Standard Audit File in a compliant and timely manner for all European countries
• Verify completeness & accuracy of VAT transactions included in the above mentioned reports
• Reconciliation of VAT return output to VAT GL's
• Prepare VAT payment request and send for approval - if VAT is payable
• Perform VAT clearing/netting
• Support the preparation of response for questions from local Tax Office
• Developing and implementing processes and internal SSC procedures
• Participation in optimizing/automatization of tax process to gain efficiency and process improvements
• Contribute to a team environment where continuous improvement is a way of life.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the SSC by performing other tasks as required.

What YOU WILL BRING

• Professional experience in SSC/BPO or Big4 would be an advantage
• Ability to learn and understand complex technical issues quickly
• Practical skills in MS Office (Excel: functions, pivot tables, v-lookup)
• Analytical skills with proactive approach
• SAP knowledge would be an asset
• Fluency in English
