CMA Recruitment Group is recruiting exclusively for a proactive Financial Controller to work for a SME charity based in the Havant, Hampshire area.

This broad finance role will allow the appointed candidate to utilise their varied, hands-on accounts experience to support an established business that delivers a valuable service within the local area.

What will the role involve?

• Be part of the senior management team advising the board of directors;
• The preparation of management and statutory accounts, annual budget and forecasts;
• Review of processes and procedures with a view to improving efficiency and automating processes;
• Line management of a small finance team and overseeing daily the transactions.

Suitable Candidate:

• Ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified although this is not essential;
• Experience of working for a SME entity and end to end finance role;
• Charity experience would be beneficial but is not essential;
• Fully IT literate and have knowledge of Sage or similar.
