You will be responsible for assisting the Finance Team in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all financial balances in the business and relaying financial information to the management team.

Description

• Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts including supporting schedules and variance analysis
• Assist the Management Accountant with the month-end process including Sales, Stock and purchase ledgers reports
• Co-ordinating monthly accruals process
• Preparation of monthly P&L overhead costs
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end process with the Management Accountant
• Ownership of CAPEX process and maintenance of Fixed Asset register
• Raising ad hoc manual invoices
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Posting of accruals and prepayments and other journals
• Assist in stock takes twice a year
• Preparation of information to external auditors for the annual audit
• Liaise with relevant office's as appropriate
• Provide Financial analysis as required
• Supporting the Finance Team and wider business in any other ad hoc projects and report requests

Profile

• AAT Qualified and/or CIMA / ACCA studier
• Proactive in dealing with issues, with good organisational skills and can do attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidence in dealing with business at all levels
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Use of Microsoft Office including strong excel skills including: vlookup, pivot tables and sumifs essential
