Accounts Receivable Team Leader

£30,000 - £35,000

Our client based in Stockport are going through a period of growth at the moment and are looking to appoint an Accounts Receivable Team Leader on a full time, permanent basis. You will report directly into the Financial Controller, managing a team of 3 AR Clerks. Duties include:

• Working with customers and internal customer team to understand and resolve queries
• Proactively chase debt and ensure debt risk is kept to a minimum
• Daily cash allocation including identifying missing remittances
• Motivate the team through coaching, development plans, training and objective setting
• Conduct regular 1 to 1s with the team and annual appraisals
• Raising manual credit notes and invoices
• Review the monthly aged debt report with explanaton of key variances
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare the month end debtors report

Person specification:

• Good excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)
• 3-5 years experience in an Accounts Receivable/Credit role
• Staff management experience with a hands on approach
