Finance Assistant (Graduate Trainee)

Arden & GEM CSU’s Corporate Finance department is looking for a Graduate Trainee to join our team based at Birch House in Mansfield. This is a training programme where you will complete the Level 7 apprenticeship and is a fixed-term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship with the opportunity for a substantive post if you successfully complete the programme.

This is a chance to establish and develop your career in an enthusiastic, fast-moving environment where both your personal and professional skills will be used to the full.

Initially reporting to a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be working with colleagues within Corporate Finance and AGEM Services. You will be supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner on a wide range of financial management activities such as month end accounts preparation, business forecasting and financial planning and analysis.

You will be a self-motivated Graduate with a desire to gain a professional accounting qualification (CIMA) and a strong interest in making innovative use of your skills to support the development of services.

Good IT skills, attention to detail and an ambition to gain experience alongside study will be essential. The ability to manage and plan workload to challenging timescales is a must.
