POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Payroll Coordinator provides comprehensive support for Payroll Department's essential tasks with the utmost confidentiality, punctuality and positive attitude. Keeps the office running with great efficiency and professionalism and works at developing and maintaining detailed and procedural processes that improve accuracy, efficiency and achieves organizational objectives.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the payroll processing of Hourly and Union workers
  • Review timesheets for accuracy
  • Reconcile the weekly per diems
  • Complete verifications of employment
  • Respond to unemployment claims
  • Assisting with administrative functions and office support
  • Assisting with classified documentation and data entry for our CMIC accounting system
  • Assisting with direct deposit set up and payrate
  • Filing all necessary paperwork on a daily basis
  • Scan all documents to the appropriate folder on the S Drive

Education And Work Experience
  • High School diploma required. Some college preferred
  • 4-8 years payroll experience required
  • Microsoft Excel - Advanced skills a plus but at least basic skills required
  • Microsoft Word--Basic Skills a Must
  • Experience working with CMIC system is plus
  • Must be highly organized, label making, folder making, etc
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to deal calmly and professionally with all personality traits throughout the company
  • Able to understand basic math and numbers to calculate pay wages, bonus amounts, and appropriate deductions for health and dental premiums
