Overview / Responsibilities

Wood has an opportunity for aStatutory Accountant. There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing Asian market. As a result of this,Finance Department is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool.

Experience in statutory reporting for accounting and taxation is required.

Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and reconciled.

Ensure timely submission of monthly reporting after closing including balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure all transactions and intercompany billings are accurately accounted for and confirmed every month. Identify and follow up any un-reconciled items.

Responsible for all local tax compliance and reporting requirements - including timely filing of SST on a bi-montly basis and annual tax returns.

Manage internal and external audit processess, which includedpreparing audit schedules, answeringqueries etc toensure compliance to regulatory timelines.

Full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Skills / Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.

Knowledgable of Malaysia accounting standards andtax requirement.

Proactive, independent and able to multi-tasks in meeting deadlines.

Good in problem solving skill, strong analytical skill and committed to meet deadline.

Strong computer skills essential, including Oracle, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel.

Possess audit experience will be a plus.
