TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Accountant within the Finance Division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for monthly reconciliations
• Ensure that reconciliations are complete and accurate and that reconciling items are flagged and escalated
• Assisting in annual recons and auditors requirements
• Assisting in audit preparations
• General administration & data capturing
• Provide back-up assistance to business unit accountant and requests from Group Financial Manager
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
  
• Financial qualification (Degree / Diploma)
• At least 2 years' relevant experience
• Working knowledge of accounting software packages
• Computer literate (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Bilingual (English & Afrikaans) (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work accurately under pressure, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and have strong problem-solving skills
• Conflict management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to follow rules and procedures
• Be professional
• Team player
• Own transport
