Position Description:
Working directly with Our Company's Regional Delivery Center's, Business Service Center's (BSCs), Human Health, Animal Health, our Research & Development Division , our Manufacturing Division , Global Support Functions, IT, and FPA Global Process Owner (GPO) this position is responsible for process improvement and standardization of existing standardized global financial process with an emphasis on expenses (headcount, promotion, direct selling, business support). This position can sit in the US, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, or Malaysia with the flexible with remote wok arrangements.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work collaboratively with multiple Finance, Commercial and IT stakeholders, including BSCs, HH, MAH, GSF, IT, BPC Development, BPC COE, and GBS analytics to understand areas for improvement
Document the end-to-end processes
Develop and issue communications via the FP&A Community of Practice mailbox
Assist with Productivity tracking via MSPS project system
Issue, analyze, and present quarterly customer satisfaction and forecast cycle time survey results
Schedule FP&A Community of Practice meetings and focus groups
Liaise with System Security roles mapping and Master Data Management teams
Represent FP&A GPO on project teams
Identify ways to streamline processes while ensuring integrity of financial information
Update FP&A activity analysis
Perform maintenance of FP&A Community of Practice, including but not limited to creation of new pages, removing older contain, reorganizing material, and granting access
Support FP&A Reporting activities, i.e., requests for new reports and decommissioning reports
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Required Experience and Skills
2 years FP&A experience (BSC or market)
Strong FP&A planning and reporting skills
Results oriented, sense of urgency, organized, with ability to prioritize
Problem solving mindset and analytical skills with a proactive management style to implement new processes
Process improvement mindset
Team player with a focus on collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to participate in calls with varied time zones as needed
Excellent communication skills
Experience with BPC applications LPT, Bridges)
Intermediate to advanced experience Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Professional experience at an organization with operations across multiple countries
Experience with internal controls and process standardization
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Understanding of SDLC
Experience managing Team sites
Preferred Technical and Other Skills
Jira, SAP, FSA, Spotfire, & PowerBi
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret corporate financial statements
Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong organization skills
Ability to operate independently and navigate through change or uncertainty
