Head of Finance

Our client is a high profile and well established charity in the Colchester region. They are looking to recruit a driven and energetic candidate as their next Head of Finance to report directly into their COO.

You will lead a finance team of 8 staff and be responsible for the production of accurate and robust management and financial accounts. You will lead the year-end and audit process and have a proven track record of producing statutory accounts, ideally in the Charities sector.

The organisation is going through a period of change and transformation and looking to improve their processes and efficiencies across all areas. There is scope for maximising their income and revenue streams and they are seeking to attract a candidate who can demonstrate commercial acumen and expertise. They are also reviewing their use of finance and other systems across the charity and it will be viewed as an advantage if you have previously led digital and systems upgrades.
