Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel are working in partnership with a growing business service company to recruit an assistant management accountant to join their accountancy team based in Wirral.

Our client is growing at an exciting rate, constantly acquiring new business partners to join them. They are seeking an assistant management accountant to join their small, busy team working from their modern, refined offices. This position will offer the candidate excellent exposure to management accounts and more commercial experience with a view to support with more analytic projects and Power BI developments.

Description

The duties of the Assistant Management Accountant include:

• Profit and loss, and balance sheet reports

• Posting monthly journals

• Checking accruals, prepayments and bank accounts for sign off by Financial Controller

• Maintain the fixed asset register

• Bank reconciliations

• Weekly cash projections

• Analysis work supporting with Power BI Projects

• Weekly management reports and stats

• Job costing

• Sales invoicing

• Purchase and sales ledger

• BACS payments

• Online banking

• Credit card statement and petty cash

Profile

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will:

• You must be part qualified, ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Experience within similar role
• Experience of Sage accounts package would be advantageous
• Exposure to Power BI - Advantagious but not essential
• Full support will be provided to help you advance your skill set and acquire further qualifications
• You must be flexible in your approach to work
