The Tax Director position is responsible for all aspects of income tax accounting and reporting, indirect tax (sales and use tax, franchise and real and personal property tax, compliance, planning, tax accounting, audits (including financial statement, federal and state audits). Position will report directly to the Corporate Controller and will supervise 3 tax managers (US Federal, US State, International/Transfer Price).

• Review Federal & State Income Tax returns
• Prepare/Review tax research performed on various income tax topics
• Prepare/Review income tax accounting provision on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Oversight of international tax returns & transfer pricing (North America, Europe, Brazil).
• Manage indirect accounting, reporting and compliance (including sales and use tax, franchise tax and property taxes).
• Set and manage the development and implementation of tax strategies, credits and other incentives
• Set tax accounting, policies and procedures to be followed in the tax area.
• Manage IRS and state audit process
• Evaluate current environment and implement tax software and automation tools as deemed necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or Advanced Degree is desired.
• 10+ years of experience in US income tax
• Tax experience in a Big 4 firm and within a tax department of a major company with practical hands on experience.
• Familiarity with Hyperion and SAP accounting and reporting tools as well as other tax software programs are a plus.
• Evaluate current tax software tools used today and determine go-forward strategy
• At least three years directly managing a team of at least three people preferred
• Strong US tax technical skills
• Experience with complex U.S. income tax areas such as consolidated returns, IRC Section 382, SRLY concepts, income tax accounting (ASC 740), IRC Section 163(j) and M&A activities.
• Previous experience with US "Inbound" companies a plus
• Strong organizational skills and documentation skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize
