Your new company
Your new company is a highly recognised manufacturing business based in Burnley, Lancashire. Due to the products they manufacture, they have been able to remain fully open during the past 12 months and have had a successful year. Following a restructure, they are now looking to appoint a Part Qualified or QBE Reporting Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
In your new role as Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for the processing of the end to end accounts function and transactional reporting. You will be joining a small but effective finance team where there will be two of you onsite but will be reporting into the Group FD who is based on their second site. You will be responsible for producing the cash flow forecast, balance sheet reconciliation and producing the profit and loss statements. Alongside the general ledger reporting, you will be responsible for general accruals, AR & AP statutory accounts and monthly closing. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm with an hour lunch but there is some flexibility offered around the start and finish times.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will either hold a part qualification in CIMA or ACCA or be a qualified by experience accountant. Experience of working in manufacturing and using ERP systems is highly desirable, however if you do not possess these, you must be able to pick up new systems effectively. As you will be joining a very small team, you will be required to be flexible and support the Site FC and cover their workload during absence.
