We have an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced contracts specialist to develop and lead the contracts management portfolio within the Building and Property Services team.

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We have an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity for an experienced contracts specialist to develop and lead the contracts management portfolio within the Building and Property Services team.
The Contract Manager is responsible for leading and managing a range of contracts. Through proactive contract management and monitoring the Contract Manager will ensure successful delivery of MPI's contracts within their area of responsibility.
In addition to contract management, will have oversight and responsibility for property asset management within MPI's Property Portfolio.
Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role you will need to have:

* Experience in procurement and contracts management.
* Experience in or understanding of risk management in a procurement and contract management context.
* A working knowledge of New Zealand Government procurement standards and obligations.
* Working knowledge of commercial law, finance and accounting.
