Your new role

Due to the excellent growth of the company we are recruiting for a Finance Manager. This is a newly created role and will report directly into the Financial Controller and will take responsibility for a well established team of 5.

Day to day duties will include direct line management for the finance team including sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll and fixed assets. You will lead the month end close for the team ensuring monthly variances are explained. You will oversee aged debt, payment runs and suppliers. You will also be responsible for the VAT returns, year end statutory accounts and the year end audit process.

This role is more suited to a technically focussed Accountant who enjoys the day to day running of a busy hands on role in a SME Finance team.

Other key duties will involve assisting with budgeting and forecasting and working on other ad-hoc projects for the Financial Controller.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be a Qualified Accountant who has significant experience managing and developing direct reports. You will be technically capable and have previous financial accounting experience gained in industry. Excellent IT skills and stakeholder management experience is also essential.
