Finance Business Partner
The role will provide commercial input and financial decision support for all relevant stakeholders and activities, as well as business and/or operational projects that may be undertaken from time to time. To provide a highly professional resident charges management support function, to ensure both residents and the business divisions are fully supported and served in all matters relating to service charges, including service expenditure management.
Leading Housing provider and well known brand leader within the social housing sector who have acquired and merged in the last 2 years, doubling their portfolio and turnover.
Produce accurate and timely production of value added management information for both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Support the Heads of in coordinating costing or service information & pricing, working particularly with accounting and credit teams, in providing the best possible service to the business.
Provide the accurate and timely reconciliation/review of balance sheet accounts. Ensure all balances are accurate, complete and supported by corroborating documentation. Collaborating with wider Finance teams in ensuring source transaction postings to the accounts are accurate, timely and efficient.
Working with the Rents and Resident Charges Specialist to ensure service charges are accurately set and expenditure recharged in accordance with all relevant regulations and in accordance with deadlines.
Effectively review, analyse, report of service cost expenditure to ensure the business has a good understanding and view of the costs being recharged
Part / newly or Qualified accountants with enthusiasm and excitement for the role. Comfortable with working outside of finance with operational managers and able to challenge when needed
Good basic salary / excellent benefits package and home working. Post lock down some travel into Birmingham office required for meetings and team days.
