Syndicate Accounting Analyst- £40,000-£45,000- London

Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take a step up in their finance career. This Insurance syndicate are looking to bring in a new syndicate accountant to help with the Annual reporting process as well as forecasting duties. This will be a remote role until further notice but post lock-down flexible working will be available

Your new role
To aid the production of: yearly underwriting accounts, yearly syndicate reports, Solvency II reporting and Lloyds returns.

  • Business partnering with Executive officers including: Actuary, risk, underwriting etc.. to ensure timely commentaries for annual reports
  • Reporting FRS 102/103
  • Regulatory returns to Lloyds and other bodies
  • GAAP reporting (UK/US)
  • Trial balance reconciliations
  • Liaise with Audit
  • Assist with Treasury- Cash flow forecasting and more

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have Lloyd's market insurance experience and have dealt with Solvency II, GAAP and regulatory returns. You can have Lloyd's market experience from an Audit background or service provider background as well as directly from within the industry
