Finance Manager EE

For one of our client, we are currently looking for:

Finance Manager | Eastern Europe with a strong leadership skills and real hands on attitude. Finance Business Partner and Agile in a matrix environment. A team player who has the ability to channel the best from others where necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial ownership of the profit and loss account, balance sheet and free cash flow
• Finance Director, in charge of IFRS & statutory books for 4 Legal Entities in 4 countries (Poland, Czech, Baltics, Hungary, Ukraine)
• Day to day responsibilities for all accounting, controlling, tax & bank relation and Internal control topics
• Managing a team of accountants / financial staff, external advisors in 4 countries + Shared Service offshored, including setting objectives and priorities
• Building strong relationships with the senior management team and the board of directors to ensure finance can support and influence the wider business and strategy
• Ensuring reporting output to senior management and the management board is of the highest standard, easy to understand and fit for purpose
• Provide ad hoc support to the Managing Director, EMEA CFO and other senior managers to support decision making
• Relay locally Group Transformation Program and provide ad hoc support to transformation initiatives

Requirements:

• Finance Director, in charge of IFRS & statutory books in multiple entities and countries
• Accounting or Finance qualification with >15 year’s professional experience
• Business Partnering experience mandatory on the CEE /SEE Cluster
• Previous financial background of working in a big matrix environment
• Very hands-on person capable of delivering results not only managing team members.
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Oversee Company financial accounting and reporting activities in local and IFRS gaap.
• Manage preparation of all monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting (actuals/forecasts)
• Prepare budgets, monitor the delivery, analyze and report deviations, define and implement corrective and pro-active actions
• Prepare financial forecasts, follow up of forecasts and contracts
• Interact with the company’s internal and external auditors, external accountants and tax advisors as well as banks
• Languages: Polish and English – high professional knowledge, any other Central Europe language or Russian an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP and Cognos TM1 – really important as daily use
