This role serves as a key financial partner with the Plant Manager, which includes ownership of finance for the execution of plant processes and strategy. This role is responsible for driving financial analytics that help reduce costs and achieve productivity. It is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, reporting, and forecasting for plant-related activities and maintenance of processes that impact inventory and fixed assets as well as local oversight for legal entity controls, reporting, audits and statutory compliances. Example include KPI management,assisting with capital projects and druving cost management/productivity reporting metrics. Fiducially responsible for controls related to inventory management for the plant.

Job Role and Responisbilities

Fiducially responsible for controls related to inventory management for the plant.
- Provide close partnership and drive financial analytics with the Plant Manager - implement, drive, recommend and improve financial reporting and forecasting processes.
- Use critical thinking and analytical skills, serve as a change agent and provide ideas and tangible recommendations on ways to increase productivity.
- Lead all aspects of financial analysis for the site - design and development models that can help to drive change and improvements
- Lead a variety of tasks including analyzing operational changes, reconciling productivity, and assisting in capital management projects and processes
- Lead plant monthly close processes, cost reviews and prepare manufacturing variance forecasts.
- Manage and execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and subsequent Latest Estimates (LE), develop costing standards for plant production and all associated activities for the plant
- Create and maintain a strong, cost effective Controls Environment ensuring compliance with SEC, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley accounting and reporting regulations, and company accounting policies and procedures
- Work with plant administrative personnel to establish purchase order rigor and completeness ensuring timely goods receipts processing leading to automation of plant cost accruals
- Work with plant personnel to promote timely transaction recording such as production postings, goods receipts/goods issues, and review transactions during the month for accurate postings. Process corrections/re-class entries as necessary and diagnose root cause of inaccurate postings; work with plant personnel to correct processes.
- Obtain understanding of cost accounting and plant-related Finance Policies and Procedures;take lead role of policies and ensure thatkey internal controls are functioning properly.
- Attend inventory counts as finance/accounting lead;for all inventory counts,ensure that documementation and adjustments are completed according to policies.
- Engage with capital project managers to understand significant projects and regularly assess open project orders against budget and assist on special projects across Grace operations to improve overall plant performance.
- Work closely with Grace Service Shared Center ( Manila ) for finance/accounting processes supported from GOC.
- Local oversight for legal entity controls,reporting , audits and statutory compliances.
- Complete all required tarining and courses and perform all job functions in a safe manner adhering to the site safety policies.
Required Skills
- Demonstrate leader of high quality buildingan effective organization.
- Have strong communication,interpersonal and influecing skills with solid business acumen and time management skills.
- Profieciency in Microsoft Capabilities - Excel , Word and Powerpoint
- Functional knowlege of US GAAP,MY GAAP & IFRS.
Required Experience
- 10 years of relevantexperience in multinational manufaturing corporation-progressing in finance/accounting and working in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Holds Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
- Has MBA and/or CPA
- Knowlegeablein SAP related systems ( BPC,BW etc ).
