My client's finance team is currently transitioning to become part of a shared services centre for the larger group. The implementation of a new, experienced and enthusiastic Group Financial Controller will help take them to the next level and beyond!

Description
Managing the full spectrum of accounting and financial controlling activities, both in the UK and abroad, alongside business partnering to work closely with teams across the UK and stakeholders, the successful candidate will oversee the Finance team in the below:
- Group Management Reporting
- AP/AR Cash-flow Management
- Budgetary Control
- VAT Reporting
- Annual Statutory Account and Audit Liaising
- Process Implementation and Streamlining
- SAGE System Administration
Profile
The successful candidate must have experience in a service business, ideally with a sporting or media background, and exposure to a subscription model business is preferred. Understanding of revenue recognition accounting issues is vital and experience with automated recognition software very useful. Exposure to new system implementation is also a bonus. The successful candidate must also:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified
- 5 Years PQE (minimum)
- History of Team Management
- International Group Consolidation Exposure
- IFRS Knowledge (IFRS 9 & IFRS 15 essential)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Impeccable Time Management
Job Offer
- £65,000 - £75,000 (experience dependant)
