The Role:

M&G, has long been at the forefront of infrastructure debt having first established a team to invest in the asset class in 1998. The team analyses investments across the sector with recent transactions ranging in maturity from 5 years to 45 years, and from investment grade to sub-investment grade, across floating rate, fixed rate and index-linked instruments. This variety is both stimulating and challenging, and requires people with strong credit skills, an enquiring mind and a range of experience. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director to join the team.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

Analysing new infrastructure debt opportunities
Preparing credit papers & reports on public & private debt transactions, making appropriate recommendations
Monitoring existing project and infrastructure debt investments
Negotiating and executing new private debt investments
Representing M&G at industry events

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Strong Credit & Analytical skills, across Infrastructure
Numerical skills (comfortable with analysing financial models)
Documentation skills (familiar with navigating through financial documentation)
5+ years' experience gained in a Project & Infrastructure debt team
Patient, determined & a team player
Buy-side experience helpful as well as Fixed Income and Ratings experience
European languages helpful
