My client is a regional real estate developer with assets across commercial, retail and residential properties.
They are looking for a Deputy General Manager, Finance (Malaysia) based in Kuala Lumpur.
Reporting to the country head and head of finance, you will oversee all aspects of Finance, Accounting and Tax functions of the Malaysia operations.
The Malaysia operations include both commercial and property development businesses.
Adaptable and meticulous, you will ensure that effective group reporting to HQ is done in a timely and accurate manner, this might include adhoc reporting for both financial operational matters.
You will also ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, local tax and statutory laws and regulations.
Armed with good communication, you will be able to work with different stake holders - both internal and external to ensure risk managements are in place for operations.
You will also control and evaluate the organisation's funding requirments and ensure cash flow is appropriate for the operation, you will also identify and implment finance transformation initiatives that will improve and streamline work processes.
