Job Purpose

The Payroll Analyst is part of Shared Services who will ensure processing and fulfillment of payroll activities. Involved in planning, processing, recording, distributing and conduct payroll activities in timely manner and accurately. Collaborate and partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure payroll services are managed efficiently. This position will also as a regional resource for compensation data audit and configuration in Workday to make sure the data accuracy in the system.

Key Accountabilities & Measurements

Performing analytics on payroll related issue and remediation
  • Ensure employees' payroll are process timely and accurately.
  • Prepare and submit of information / document in accordance of local regulators
  • Post payroll accounting activities including payroll records, timesheets, account journals & commissions
  • Improve HR processes as needed
  • Support the compensation audit in Workday
  • Oversee office admin matters and support office admin activities
  • Successful transition of country payroll to Shared Services
  • Ensure SOX, statutory and audit compliance
  • Any other activities as deem necessary by the management

  • Key Qualifications & Requirements

    Education Qualification: Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience

  • Relevant Experience :
  • 3-5 years direct experience involved in processing payroll for different countries in APAC. Familiar with payroll processing and local tax and statutory reporting guidelines
  • Good understanding of how HR interacts with various business functions.
  • Exposure to HRIS (i.e. Workday) would be plus
  • Some administrative experience in ensuring smooth office operations

  • Others :
  • Conversant in English. Added advantage with another language commonly used in APAC
