Description

This role is reporting in to the Financial Controller.

The duties include:

• Ensure efficient collection of customer debt. Chasing debt by telephone, email, dunning letters. Include cover for all Starkey group of companies.
• Monitor risk of customers. Negotiate payment plans and / or settlements when appropriate. Daily Cash with order review.
• Ensuring all queries are investigated and resolved within a timely manner.
• Ensuring customer month end statements are sent accurately and timely within 2 days of month end. Ensure daily, weekly, monthly invoices are emailed/posted the day they are printed.
• Assist in migration to 'automated invoicing'.
• Ensuring all bank transactions are posted and allocated daily. Physical cash/cheque banking is lodged.
• Ensuring all new accounts are set up correctly / amendments made accurately. Communication to internal departments and external customer delivered.
• Ensuring all credits are processed by Friday of every week.
• Doubtful debt provision. Emailing cycle end debtors report. Cover for intercompany. Cover for AR module close down. Balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

• Have experience working in a similar credit control - Essential
• Be an excellent communicator with strong customer services skills - Essential
• Have use Oracle - Desirable
• Be comfortable using basic MS Excel including VLook Ups - Essential
• Have a strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines - Essential

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay up to £22,000 + Bonus + Permanent contract + Parking + Pension
