Payroll Officer
The primary responsibility of the Payroll Officer is to ensure that payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner for SEA offices. The position is also responsible for payroll reporting, payroll system administration and payroll accounting. They will also provide HR administration support and assistance to the SEA P&C team as and when required.
Responsibilities:-
Payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner by using company payroll software. Gather and input monthly data including starters, leavers, leave payment, overtime and claims (payroll related) Ensure proper payroll authorization is obtained prior to the remittance of payroll. Preparation and timely delivery of pay slips and annual payment summaries Ensure payroll comply with relevant statutory and legislative requirements including timely processing of monthly statutory payments. Respond to enquiries and resolving payroll issues in a professional and courteous manner. Liaise with Finance to ensure enough cash flow and provide accurate reporting in relation to payroll related issues. Liaise with Payroll Software Client Support on system related problems. Give advice to management on the impact of new legislation on payroll procedures whenever necessary. Manage and coordinate best practice processes to ensure the accurate processing of all pay related data. Ensure the continuous implementation and improvement of payroll policies, procedures and processes
