We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) to become an instrumental part of our Finance team at Sir Robert McAlpine.

Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&A) Role

This role will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and provide a business partnering function to HQ profit centres improving financial insight and understanding into past and future performance. In addition, the individual will assist in evolving reporting outputs driving greater understanding of company performance and required management intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, accurate, complete, and relevant provision of all FP&A outputs and management information for decision making purposes
  • Continuous improvement of reporting that provides key insights and is easily understandable by non-finance individuals
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders through effective Business Partnering, developing their financial understanding and ownership/accountability of performance
  • Build Executive Board confidence in the robustness of reporting and forecast positions
  • Showcase the value of finance through provision of insightful management information to raise the functions profile and impact within the business

Your Profile

  • Excellent excel skills including modelling development
  • Experience of change implementation and understanding of 'what good looks like'
  • Proven track record of business partnering with non-finance functions and developing their understanding
  • A strong communicator, collaborator and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle large volumes and prioritising workload to deliver results in accordance with month end timetables
  • Accountancy Qualification (eg, ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
