Risk & Insurance Manager (Contract to Perm)

Your new company

Your new company is a leading Private Education business, with a Head Office in the heart of London, and sites across the world in 30 countries. This business prides themselves on being able to offer the best possible education to their students, and for them - that starts from the top, including in Head Office roles.

You will work as part of an incredibly talented team, reporting directly to the Group Risk Officer, and working closely with senior leaders such as the CEO and CFO, General Counsel, and local leadership teams.


Your new role

In your new role, you will report to the Group Risk Officer and largely be left to push on in a hands-on role. Your focus will be on ensuring that the company's commercial insurance is fit for purpose on an international scale, as the way policies work and combine together may work differently around the World.

You will work with senior leaders both in the UK and around the World to ensure that best practice is implemented wherever possible, and that the Insurance policies and documents are suitable for all eventualities. This will come from being willing to look, in detail, at currently portfolios and amend where needed.

This role will initially be offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, however, the business and the hiring manager are well aware that this skillset is needed in house and so there is every ambition for this position to become permanent. They are happy for someone to take this solely on a 12 month contract, or for someone who would be looking to take the role permanently at end of initial contract.


What you'll need to succeed

• Technical expertise within commercial insurance
• In-House insurance management experience
• Prior exposure to Risk Management would be ideal
• Ability to work in the UK without restriction
• International exposure in a previous role would be a bonus
