We’re looking for Future Leaders in Finance

On our 2-3 year Finance Graduate Programme you will gain experience across two key areas of Finance across all of our great brands. You will develop an understanding of the role Finance plays in General Mills and will interact with a wide range of stakeholders.

From building solid technical skills and great accounting foundations in the Financial Control team, to being in the Financial Planning & Analysis team where you will enhance your reporting expertise whilst being truly commercially focussed. At the end of this programme you will have the right balance of technical skills and on the job experience to be a strong Finance professional.

You’ll be financially supported to study for your CIMA qualification while gaining relevant experience – meaning that you’ll be able to join the world’s largest and leading professional body of Management Accountants.

You will be assigned a buddy and career mentor who will be your support throughout the programme. At the end of the rotations, your overall performance along with your interests will help determine the role you move into.

Skills & Qualifications 

Required experience/competencies/attributes:

  • Minimum 2.1 or equivalent degree (we accept all disciplines)
  • The unrestricted right to live and work permanently in the UK
  • Prior experience working in FMCG, retail or supplier environment an advantage
  • Ambitious and keen learner
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong commercial awareness
  • Self driven and willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Modelling, Pivots, Slicers, Index, Match, Lookups) and PowerPoint
  • SAP ERP, SAP CRM, BW Systems experience an advantage
