Key Deliverables
Managing Bank and Account reconciliations.Prepare reconciliation open items summary and within deadlines as per the standard defined by the organization.
Chart of accounts management, review request from business teams to allocate existing CoA or initiate request for new based on the requirement.
Intercompany reconciliation and affiliate managementwhich includes reconciliation of AR / AP statements for all counter parties, manage stakeholders and respond to their queries.
Preparation of Intercompany AR & AP intercompany confirmation statement, email to relevant stakeholders & obtain confirmation from counter parties
Close and Consolidation activities like Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolution, Upload numbers to BPC and reposting activities to ensure period end is closed successfully.
Monitoring and assisting team to perform transactional work like Journal entries while ensuringthat all required pre- reporting transactions and journal entries are posted in line with procedure(s) and authorization policy/policies in place and within deadline(s) agreed upon.
Identifyingareas of process improvements, report to management, implement change.
Reviewing, investigatingand resolvingall mismatches in Hyperion / other consolidation system.
Performingperiodic system maintenance activities like updating the relevant SAP codes with BPC for efficient reporting, making sure new customers or vendors have been added to the relevant system or coordinate with AR/AP team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Master's in Accounting or MBA a strong positive.
CharteredAccountant (CA)orCPA orCFAor equivalentis a strong plus
5+years ofsignificantexperience inGeneral Accountingor auditingwithin a multinational environmentpreferably in manufacturingcompanies
Strong executive presence and technical accounting background
Proficiency inIFRS orUS GAAP accounting principles as well as understanding of SOX and Operational/Financial Risksfor ManagementandFinancialReporting
Proficiency inLocal GAAP for Statutory Reportingfor one or multiple countries - Malaysia, China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia and India
Good understanding ofcost accounting processesa plus
Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions
Demonstrated experience of SAP, SAP BW, SAP BPC Consolidations, Cadency,MDG,Concurhighly preferred
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work against and meetdeadlines from multiple stakeholders and effectively manage expectations
Ability to communicatewith ahigh degree of credibility internallyacross functional lines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability toworkin a team environment, build consensus and foster positive relationships
Travelmay berequired on ad hoc basis
