Oyster Venture Partners is a leading corporate finance advisory firm supporting businesses in the Life Science, Healthcare, and Digital Healthcare sectors with their fundraising and sell-side strategies. Having completed a number of transactions in the sector, invested in a technology platform to fast-track the deal process and developed a significant pipeline of opportunity, we are now looking to expand the team.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are now looking to expand the Manchester team with a Corporate Finance Director to take up fund-raising mandates in support of our existing and developing client base. This role will be based in Manchester.

Key duties:

  • Working alongside the Partners to undertake lead advisory work on a wide variety of transactions (c.£1m - £20m deal values).
  • Identification, engaging and coordinating with clients/buyers/investors.
  • Producing a range of deliverables including pitch decks, IMs and business plans.
  • Preparing and using complex financial models, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
  • Engaging and supporting our client base and coordinating the project mandate.
  • Networking with relevant investment and sector communities.

THE PERSON

You will be a finance professional from the life science or healthcare sector able to demonstrate the following:

  • 10years+ in an advisory role with an appropriate level of deal and seniority experience supporting SME's.
  • 10years+ continual exposure across the life science or healthcare sectors in multiple roles.
  • Have exceptional presentation, data preparation skills, and communication skills.
  • Have a high level of Excel and PowerPoint competency with a willingness to work in new systems.
  • A high degree of personal drive and motivation to succeed.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualification.
