Finance Manager
£30-40,000 for the right candidate
Permanent and full time


I'm looking for someone with plenty of experience in financial and management accounting; you could be a one person finance team from an SME, you could be a part of a huge organisation, but you will need to have a varied skill set in order to manage the duties and team members of this Finance department.

Working with UK and European accounts, experience with Euro's or other FX will be highly desirable. You will be overseeing the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, managing and monitoring Cashflow and keeping track on the debtor files. You will be highly passionate about accuracy and attention to detail; a perfectly reconciled bank will give you a warm fuzzy feeling and you will inspire that commitment to perfectionism in your team everyday. You will also be highly analytical; your commercial reports must be detailed and insightful as they will be relied on as a means of managing the business to ever greater successes; this company operate in a highly competitive industry, but they have the product and the talent to dominate their sector.
Duties will include;

  • Regular reconciliation on bank accounts; both EU and UK
  • Providing cash flow projections for multiple business entities
  • Preparation and processing of regular and ad-hoc journals
  • VAT returns
  • Preparation of a variety of detailed accounting, statistical, and narrative financial statements and reports
  • Provide Board Members with timely reviews of organisation's financial status and progress
  • Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.



I am looking for someone who can also step away from Financial Process and Procedure to support in areas such as HR and Administration; you really will be the sort of person who rolls their sleeves up without hesitation when the business needs you to; this is a very organic role in a fast paced organisation….. no doubt the role will develop with time served and experience gained, so this is just an overview
